Challenge Dash! A mini Amazing Race/Minute to Win It challenge!
Saturday, March 31
We are putting together a great event for a great cause! You all have heard of the latest craze - mudruns! I know many of you are intimidated by these races. With that in mind, we have created an adventure challenge in which your fitness level plays a very small role.
As long as you can walk or run between two points, your are good to go. You will race in team of two and receive a clue that will take you to your first check point. You will have to complete a task in order to get your second clue...and so on. The challenges could be anything from puzzles to trivia to jumping on one foot. During this event we will also provide FREE child care in our facility, a challenge event for 6-12 year olds, and refreshments.
- Age restriction: 16 (with parents consent) or 10 if racing with a parent.
- Distance is yet TBD, but there will be 10 challenges.
- All racers (kids in kids challenge recieves a small medal) will receive a T-Shirt.

Half Marathon
Want to see if you can "do it"? A few of us are training for a half marathon. There are different levels and pace, but as long as we have each other for support it doesn't matter. Let us know if you are interested and we will set you up on the mailing list. This is a FREE program and not with a running coach. All we do is to set you up with a suggested training schedule and introduce you with others that are interested as well. We are planning the training to match up with Myrtle Beach Marathon
February 16-18, 2012
Other events:
Zip lining
Sky Diving
Fitness Weekend

1. Paul Maynard
13.3%
2. Katy Brown
11.2%
3. Kelly Reaves 10.6%
4. David Brown 9.2%

Congratulations to all of you! You all did an amazing job. The top five people lost about 100 lbs together. Many more have lost a great amount of weight (14, 8, 6 and so on). As you all know we calculated the percentage for a fair game.
As a side note, this is the second time out of three that a guy won...and his name is Paul too! Not sure if it's a guy thing or the name Paul. :)

"Having a BLAST! I love the personal attention that you and your trainers have with the clients. I love that. I love that you care about each person individually and you know everyone. I love the camaraderie and the friendliness and welcoming attitude of everyone there! THANKS!" Brandy
"I started going to HSPT during their first "Biggest Loser" contest. The contest was great and the contest helped me lose 25 lbs! (Of course Linda makes sure to remind me it was only 24.8 lbs and I still have work to do.) Since then, I got hooked on the kickboxing and their conditioning classes. The staff at HSPT is fantastic with personalized motivation and drive. The classes are dynamic so nothing is too repetitive, and certainly never dull! My only warning would be giving Linda your cell number, because if you don't get your lazy butt to training, she's not afraid to fire a text at ya! :)" Tom R., Holly Springs, NC
"I absolutely love the Zumba classes here! It is really a fun way to workout at a great price." Am Tanner
"I have been working out with Linda for 2 1/2 yrs. I'm the healthiest I've been in a long time - muscles are toned, lost weight and feel good! Linda, Liz and the rest of the instructors are great!" Van Family, Fuquay-Varina, NC
